Dr. B. Edward O’Dell

Dr. B. Edward O’Dell is the medical director of Transformation Medical Center. Dr. O’Dell earned his M.D. degree from the Medical University of South Carolina in 1981 and did his internship and residency at the Medical College of Georgia where he was on the ground floor of the use of lasers in medicine. After moving to Florence, SC in 1985 he was instrumental in getting both McLeod & Carolina Hospital to purchase their first medical lasers in 1986. He was also the first physician in Florence, SC to use lasers in minimally invasive laparoscopic surgery and spearheaded advancements locally as new technology became available. Dr. O’Dell is a fellow in the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology and is a member in the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgeons. He has worked with many of the leading Cosmetic physicians and surgeons in Miami, Phoenix, Philadelphia, Dallas and California. Dr. O’Dell resides in Florence, SC with his wife and family.
